We are selling the actual left side panel from the No. 45 Porsche. This panel was on the car for the entire 2009 championship season, including the victory at Laguna Seca and the infamous last lap battle with Joerg Bergmeister and Corevette Racing's Jan Magnussen. This left side took most of the damage as the two cars went side by side, racing towards the finish. This light weight metal panel measures approximately 9 ft (108") in length, by 4 ft (48") in height and weights approximately 25 lbs. The panel comes with a certificate of authenticity. Signatures on the panel by Joerg Bergmeister and Patrick Long can be arranged at no additional charge, but this will delay shipment until after Sebring. This panel raced at four tracks; Northeast Grand Prix/Lime Rock, Acura Sports Car Challenge/Mid-Ohio, Road America and the Grand Prix of Mosport. during the 2009 ALMS season. The panel was damaged in a practice session at Petit Le Mans when the Falken Porsche made contact with it. We typically produce two suits for each driver per year, so availability is extremely limited. This 2008 driver suit was worn by Porsche Factory and Flying Lizard driver Jörg Bergmeister. Wearing this suit, and driving in the No. 45 Porsche with fellow driver Wolf Henzler, Jörg won the ALMS GT2 Drivers' Championship and Team Championship for the 2008 season. Jörg is considered by many, to be the top Porsche factory driver in the world. This suit was custom manufactured and embroidered for Jörg by Stand 21.
