Joerg Bergmeister
(Germany)

Joerg returns to Flying Lizard in 2008 for his second season. In 2007, he and Johannes van Overbeek steamed to a second place finish in the ALMS drivers' championship, winning three races (including the Petit Le Mans) and a total of seven podiums. Joerg secured a place in racing history with the now infamous battle with the No. 62 Ferrari at Sebring in 2007 that came down to the last turn in the 12-hour race. Joerg's notable successes include a phenomenal 2006 season in which he won both the ALMS GT2 drivers' championship (his second consecutive) and the Grand-Am DP drivers' championship.

Wolf Henzler
(Germany)

2008 will be Wolf's second season with Flying Lizard. In 2006, he teamed with Johannes van Overbeek to a second place finish in the ALMS drivers' championship. Other notable results include a GT class win at the 2005 Rolex 24 at Daytona with Farnbacher Racing and 4th in the 2005 ALMS GT2 championship with BAM! In 2004, he was Porsche Michelin Supercup champion, 2nd in the Porsche Michelin Carrera Cup, and 2nd in the ALMS 2004 Petit Le Mans with Alex Job Racing. Wolf ranked 3rd in the Porsche Cup in 2007, and won in 2006.

Darren Law
(U.S.A.)

Law returns to the Lizards in 2008, teaming again with Neiman and Pechnik in the No. 44 Porsche. Law has driven with the Lizards for three seasons: 2004, 2006 and 2007. In 2007, in the No. 44, Law finished second in GT2 at Long Beach and Detroit (with guest driver Patrick Long). In 2006, the No. 44 finished top five in class in half of the season's ten races. In 04, driving with van Overbeek in the No. 45, Law finished 2nd in the ALMS drivers' championships. Ranked second in the Porsche Cup in 2007, seventh in 2006, and 10th in 2005.

Seth Neiman
(U.S.A.)

Neiman began racing professionally in 2003. 2008 will be his fifth consecutive year in the ALMS in the No. 44 Porsche. He was ranked eighth in the Porsche Cup in 2006. In 2006, he finished 4th in GT2 in the 2006 24 Heures du Mans (van Overbeek/Long) and 3rd in GT2 in 2005 (with van Overbeek/Pechnik).

Lonnie Pechnik
(U.S.A.)

Pechnik will share driving duties in the No. 44 with Darren Law and Seth Neiman again for the 2008 season. This will be his fifth consecutive season driving with the team. In 2005, Pechnik finished 3rd in GT2 at the 24 Heures du Mans (with van Overbeek/Neiman).

Patrick Pilet
(France)

2008 will be Patrick's inaugural season in the ALMS. Patrick is the 2007 Porsche French Carrera Cup champion. Other notable results include: French Formula Renault 2000 champion 2004, runner up in Formula Renault 2000 France 2003, and Formula France champion 2001.

Johannes van Overbeek
(U.S.A.)

van Overbeek has competed with the Lizards since 2003, finishing in the top 3 in the ALMS GT2 drivers' championship every year in the No. 45 Porsche. He has teamed with Darren Law (2004), Jon Fogarty (2005), Wolf Henzler (2006) and Joerg Bergmeister (2007). In 2007, he and Bergmeister won Lime Rock, Mid-Ohio, the Petit Le Mans, and a total of seven podium finishes. He won the Porsche Cup in 2007, was 2nd in 2006, 7th in 2005, and 5th in 2004. He has competed in three 24 Heures du Mans: fourth in GT2 in 2006 (Long/Neiman) and third in GT2 in 2005, both in the Lizard No. 80 Porsche. Hometown: San Francisco, Calif. (pron: OVER-beck)

2008 Guest Drivers
SEBRING
Alex Davison
(Australia)

Veteran Australian GT driver Davison joins the Lizards for Sebring in 2008 for his first ride with the team in the No. 44 Porsche with Law and Neiman. 2008 will be his first Sebring. Davison has been a quick study in the RSRs - he drove the car for the first time in January of 08. But he's been driving Porsches since 2000: with four seasons in the German Carrera Cup and one in Porsche Supercup. He won his first race in the U.S. at Indianapolis with Supercup in 2002. He has four Carrera Cup race wins in Germany and won the Australia Carrera Cup in 2004, runner up in 05, and 06. He's a native of Australia, based in Melbourne. He'll be spending 2008 in Stuttgart, Germany driving an RSR with Felbermayr Proton in the LMS. He started racing Karts at age 11 and began driving professionally in Formula Ford at 18.

SEBRING
Marc Lieb
(Germany)

Lieb, a Porsche factory driver, heads into his sixth race with the Lizards at Sebring, driving with Bergmeister and Henzler in the No. 45 Porsche. 2008 will be Lieb's third consecutive Sebring with the team, finishing 2nd in 2007 (Bergmeister/van Overbeek) and 2nd in 2006 with van Overbeek and Jon Fogarty. Lieb also counts a win at Petit Le Mans with Bergmeister and van Overbeek in 07.

SEBRING
Richard Lietz
(Austria)

A Porsche factory driver, Lietz will run his first race with the Lizards at Sebring in the No. 46 with van Overbeek and Pilet. It will be the first time the trio has driven together and Lietz' first Sebring race. Lietz has competed professionally since 2000. Recent notable results include GT2 class win at Le Mans in 2007 with IMSA Performance (Long/Narac) and the International GT Open series championship in 2007. In addition to his sportscar career, Lietz has a passion for rally racing and ice racing in his native Austria.
