MONTEREY, Calif. (May 6, 2025) – After a mixed opening to the 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America season at Sebring International Raceway, Flying Lizard Motorsports is ready to return to form this weekend at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. The California-based event marks Round Two of the championship, and the team is eager to capitalize on past success at the iconic road course.

The Phoenix-based squad will once again field its pair of Pro/Am entries: the No. 41 Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 of Paul Nemschoff and Marc Miller, and the fan-favorite No. 14 Lamborghini—affectionately named “Sparklefarts,” piloted by Slade Stewart and Andy Lee.

“Although we had mixed results at Sebring, we still came away with a podium and showed great pace with the cars,” Said Program Manager Darren Law. “Laguna Seca is such an iconic track, and we have a lot of history and success there. It’s a great area to race in and we are looking forward to getting back to business.”

The season opener at Sebring International Raceway saw a strong start from Nemschoff and Miller, who earned a podium in Race One and showed promising pace throughout the weekend. A strong qualifying effort in Race Two put the car near the front, and while late-race contact dropped them outside the top five, the duo still banked valuable championship points. With their Sebring podium adding to the momentum from their 2024 season-ending victory in Spain, the pair enters Laguna Seca with confidence and continuing momentum.

For Stewart and Lee, Laguna Seca offers an opportunity for redemption. After an early incident at Sebring sidelined the No. 14 entry for the remainder of the Sebring weekend, the duo is eager to bounce back at a circuit where they’ve previously excelled. The pink unicorn-liveried Lamborghini earned its first win at Laguna Seca in 2024, and the drivers are determined to repeat that success on familiar turf.

The 2.238-mile road course features 11 turns of technical elevation changes, including the famous Corkscrew, offering a unique challenge for drivers and engineers alike. With strong fan support, scenic views, and a rich motorsport heritage, Laguna Seca promises to deliver another exciting weekend in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series.

Each Super Trofeo round consists of two 50-minute sprint races, with drivers required to make a pit stop and driver change midway through each event. The weekend kicks off with practice sessions beginning on Friday, May 9, followed by Race One on Saturday at 4:45 PM PT and Race Two on Sunday at 9:35 AM PT.
