Flying Lizard Motorsports Brings Four-Car Effort to Indianapolis Season Finale

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (October 6, 2026) – Flying Lizard Motorsports will close out the 2026 SRO America season this week at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, bringing a four-car effort across GT4 America, GT America and McLaren Trophy America. With a championship on the line, a strong collection of season-long results, and several familiar Lizard drivers in action, the team heads to the historic Brickyard looking to finish the year on a high note.

“It has been a great season,” said Program Manager Darren Law. “We are looking to finish strong and keep our winning momentum alive. We’ve already locked up one championship title, and now we’re pushing hard to get Zach and Kris in the top three in points for GT4 America. This weekend brings an extra layer of excitement as we add another McLaren Trophy car to the stable—and I’m especially happy to be getting back behind the wheel to race it myself. There is no better place to wrap up the year than the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway!”

Leading the charge into the finale is Craig Lumsden in the No. 413 Colorado Motorsports with Flying Lizard BMW. In his first year of professional sports car racing, Lumsden has put together an impressive campaign with five pole positions and five victories. He enters Indianapolis poised to secure the GT America GT4 Am championship, capping a standout rookie season.

The No. 413 Colorado Motorsports with Flying Lizard BMW will also return to GT4 America competition with Zach Lumsden and Kris Wilson. Together, the pairing has earned one pole position, five podium finishes, and eight top-five results in the Am class this season. They enter the final weekend fifth in the championship standings and are still mathematically in contention to move up to third in the championship with one last opportunity to add to their season tally of results. It will be a busy weekend for the teams GT4 BMW as a single car will be shared between the GT4 America and GT America classes due to an incident at Barber that left one of the cars unable to be repaired in time.

Flying Lizard will also once again field three entries in McLaren Trophy America. The No. 77 LHH Motorsports with Flying Lizard McLaren will be driven by Michael Suco Jr. and Flying Lizard Motorsports Program Manager Darren Law in the Am class. The Indianapolis weekend will bring the pair together for the season finale at one of North America’s most iconic racing venues.

Zach Lumsden will pull double duty throughout the weekend, competing in both GT4 America and McLaren Trophy America. He will pilot the No. 413 Colorado Motorsports with Flying Lizard McLaren in the Am class after earning fourth- and fifth-place finishes in previous rounds at Road America and Road Atlanta.

Evan King returns to the team with co-driver Dominic Starkweather, sharing the No. 62 Flying Lizard Motorsports McLaren in the Pro-Am class, adding another entry to the team’s McLaren Trophy America lineup.
