Flying Lizard Motorsports Heads to Barber with Championship in Focus

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.(September 22, 2026) — Flying Lizard Motorsports and Colorado MotorSport head to Barber Motorsports Park this weekend for the penultimate race weekend of the 2026 SRO America season, with championship battles taking center stage for the team’s No. 413 and No. 610 entries.

With just two race weekends remaining, both programs arrive in Alabama with valuable points on the line. Craig Lumsden enters the weekend holding a commanding 108-point advantage in the GT4 class of GT America powered by AWS, while Zach Lumsden and Kris stand 40 points off the leaders Pirelli GT4 America with four races to go.

GT America powered by AWS
Craig Lumsden brings the No. 610 Colorado MotorSport with Flying Lizard entry to Barber Motorsports Park with a 108-point lead in the GT4 championship standings.
Lumsden has built his advantage through a consistent season aboard the BMW M4 GT4 EVO and will look to continue that form through the two races at Barber. With the season rapidly approaching its conclusion, the focus remains on maximizing each opportunity and continuing to add to his championship tally.

Pirelli GT4 America
In Pirelli GT4 America, Zach Lumsden and Kris Wilson enter the penultimate event fourth in the class championship standings aboard the No. 413 Colorado MotorSport with Flying Lizard BMW M4 GT4 EVO.

The duo sits 40 points behind the championship leaders with a maximum of 25 points available in each remaining round, keeping the title fight alive heading into Barber. Lumsden and Wilson arrive on the heels of a strong Road America weekend that saw the No. 413 contend at the front in both races. Wilson led the opening stint of Race One before handing the car to Lumsden, with the pair ultimately earning a second-place finish. They again battled at the front in challenging wet conditions in Race Two, continuing a run of competitive performances as the championship enters its final stretch.

Barber Motorsports Park presents a distinctly different challenge, with its flowing layout, elevation changes, and limited opportunities to gain track position placing an added premium on qualifying and execution. With 40 points separating the No. 413 from the championship lead, every position will matter as Lumsden and Wilson look to close the gap before the season finale.

The Barber Motorsports Park weekend marks the second-to-last double header event of the 2026 season for Flying Lizard Motorsports and Colorado MotorSport.
