ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (August 27, 2026) – Flying Lizard Motorsports and SRO America resume race season competition this weekend at Road America, August 28–30, for another packed six-race weekend across GT America powered by AWS, Pirelli GT4 America, and McLaren Trophy America.

Following a demanding but productive weekend at Road Atlanta in June, the team heads to the four-mile Wisconsin circuit with all three programs continuing their championship campaigns as the 2026 season enters its final stretch. Before the on-track action begins, fans can get an early look at the cars and meet the drivers during Thursday evening’s kickoff street party in downtown Elkhart Lake. The event runs from 5:30 to 7:00 PM and serves as the traditional start to the Road America race weekend.

GT America Powered by AWS
Craig Lumsden returns to the No. 610 Colorado MotorSports with Flying Lizard BMW for two GT America races at Road America, carrying the GT4-class championship lead heading into the weekend. Lumsden has been a model of consistency throughout the season and remains the only driver in the class to have competed in every race to date. Despite a challenging Road Atlanta weekend that included a mechanical retirement in Race One, he left Georgia with a 58-point advantage in the championship standings.

With the season winding down and only six events remaining, Road America presents another opportunity for Lumsden and the No. 610 crew to continue building on that advantage through the weekend’s pair of sprint races.

GT4 America
Zach Lumsden and Kris Wilson will once again share the No. 413 Colorado MotorSports with Flying Lizard BMW in GT4 America, entering Road America tied for fourth in the AM championship standings. The duo earned two top-five finishes at Road Atlanta, and their consistent performances have kept the No. 413 firmly in the top-five standings heading into the closing rounds of the season. Road America’s long straights, heavy braking zones, and high-speed corners will provide a new challenge as Lumsden and Wilson look to convert their recent pace into another strong points haul.

McLaren Trophy America
Flying Lizard Motorsports will again field two entries in McLaren Trophy America, with Philip Ploskas and Johnny O’Connell returning in the No. 29 Flying Lizard Motorsports McLaren and Zach Lumsden continuing in the No. 413 Colorado MotorSports with Flying Lizard McLaren. With two more races on tap at Road America, both McLarens will look capitalize on the ample on track time at the most anticipated stops on the SRO America calendar.

The Road America weekend begins Thursday evening with the kickoff street party in downtown Elkhart Lake from 5:30–7:00 PM, followed by on-track activity throughout Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
